GIRLS CAMP ROCKS!

What a fabulous time we had at girls camp this year! We went to our Bishop's cabin that had no running water, but DID have an awesome outhouse with double seats! AWESOME! Here are some pictures of the main events that took place during this wonderful week!
THE ROPE SWING!

Mel took a few times of slipping down the mountain, but finally made it on the swing.
Shannon and her bun in the oven had a great ride
Bishop got the highest, but maybe that was because he was the one who made the rope swing 40 years ago...
Larry had a great time swinging away!
SKITS!!!
We learned all about what the teenager deals with each day of her life!

Then us leaders got the chance to learn all about ourselves as the girls mimicked us to the tee. Can you guess which girl played Nicole's part? I will give you one hint... LARGE!
We had some fun camp crafts. Mari showed us how to make the coolest bracelets out of string and the girls had their fun at being creative painting picture frames. We do have the most creative girls ever!

The food was delicious! Here is the Bishop and Larry making themselves sandwiches! Yum Yum!
We were lucky to get to Celebrate Jules' birthday and have Isabel come up to help us out! It was an awesome birthday with delicious cake, presents, and birthday poppers!

And the final shot is of the loft where the girls crashed! It was one HUGE slumber party! We got the bottom floor and brought some huge blow up mattresses to be as comfortable as possible and the Bishop and Larry had their own tents out in the trees. It rained a lot so they were the real troopers! Thanks Bishop for letting us crash in your cabin and being so willing to rough it outdoors!

Choose Your Own Adventure

It all started with a cabana boy, a black hole and a lush tropical beach.
It ended quite differently.
Julianna's ending: You curl into a ball, sobbing extra loudly until someone has mercy on you, buys you a Jamaican dinner and you decide island life isn’t so bad after all. You become a scuba instructor and marry a small Chinese man.
Jane's ending: You get hopelessly lost in a small jungle in the middle of the island and develop an unhealthy fondness for bananas.
Rachael's ending: You make your way back to your lounge chair, find a new swimsuit awaiting you alongside a fruity drink. A note on the table reads, “Love, Cabana Boy. Call me.”

Savannah and Haven's Ending: "You run to the airport, convince someone to let you ride in their pet carrier and end up in Greenland and get a job at a maple syrup factory."
